Statistically very few Apollo users are however on these older versions (well under 1% of users) and the work to maintain these older versions and put off using nice, newer iOS features in full (SwiftUI, SceneDelegate, Combine, Swift Concurrency, etc.) is beginning to get a fleck tough to maintain given the pocket-sized userbase (and I'm just i person building this app), and then I figure now's a good a time as for iOS 14 to get the base. Promise that's understandable.

Absolutely Stellar App, Programmer is 🔥
Apollo is past far the nigh-used app on my telephone (and now I take the ScreenTime reports to evidence it). It is orders of magnitude better than the "official" reddit app and is superior in every mode. It is fast and polish and packed with features. I especially love that I tin selection the theme I want, alter the icon, and remove ads! The affair I hated most near the official app was the ads that were bearded as legitimate posts and with Apollo that'southward all gone!
I bought the Pro upgrade months ago to gain access to additional features and it was ane of the few in-app purchases I take never regretted or felt like wasn't worth the cost. Today the developer released an update adding a agglomeration of new features that require a very reasonable (seems underpriced to be honest) monthly subscription, and like a truthful bro he has the selection to unlock it for life with a onetime purchase! I hate monthly and even yearly subscriptions then I especially appreciated this pick.
All that by itself should convince yous that this app is worth it, merely the affair that really seals the deal is the programmer. He is astonishing. Super active with feedback and very open in his communication about the condition of the app's development and requested features.
Fantastic Reddit client for iPhone
From first use, this app is a joy to use. Information technology integrates incredibly well with the residue of iOS. The default settings are mostly intuitive (especially for first time users) and for those places where the app doesn't exercise what you await, the available options are all-encompassing.
What prompted me to write this review was really a feature of the Ultra subscription (also available as a i time purchase). I'd put off purchasing Ultra for a while, as the biggest draw to me was the bulletin/respond notifications but I withal used Narwhal for that. It's great, it feels like an iMessage notification with a quick reply sheet opening up and then I can respond with the easy option to open the full app equally well.
The i limitation I encounter with this app is the iPad interface. It is not as well thought out every bit the iPhone interface; it's basically a scaled up version of the iPhone interface. But as an iPhone app, this is the best Reddit client I've used (I even adopt information technology over the one-time and new website on a "existent" computer).
